The Landing Steakhouse was born from a conviction that Matamoras deserved a true dining destination — genuine hospitality, Italian-inspired steak and seafood, and a deep respect for the region, all at one table.
A shared vision at Hunt's Landing
When "Sonny" Patel sought to breathe new life into the Best Western at Hunt's Landing, he partnered with Sullivan County restaurateur Randy Resnick. Together with April Resnick and manager Shane Phillipy, they built the premier steak-and-seafood destination it is today.
Honoring a regional culinary legacy
The Landing honors the Delaware River region's dining heritage through the Dodge Inn Steak, a celebrated local classic woven into the restaurant's identity. Every detail — from the waterfront setting to the warm, lamp-lit tables — reflects that same sense of place.
